Angela Bassett is an American actress, director, producer, and activist who has a net worth of $25 million. She is known for portraying real-life African-American women, usually smart and strong women, along with independent characters. Most notably, she was nominated for Academy Award for Best Actress and won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical for her performance as Tina Turner in the biopic What’s Love Got to Do with It (1993).
